(Visual ref.) Hair: Black Eyes: Brown Distinguishing Features: Bite scar on his ankle from when he was turned. | For Tyler, it was never a matter of if he'd become a werewolf, but rather when. Human as his mother might have been, his father being a werewolf meant that there was a constant presence of the supernatural in his life. and not too long after his younger brother, Marcus, was born, his mother too became a werewolf. Tyler only became a werewolf when he was twelve, as his parents wanted make sure he'd be able to handle his newly enhanced senses without getting too overwhelmed. By their will, they'd have waited a few more years, but Tyler insisted on getting it sooner rather than later, and Tyler's grandparents themselves agreed with him that he should be able to take it all well, which turned out to be true. It wasn't easy, of course, it never is, but he managed. All in all though, his childhood was fairly normal. Sure, sometime after turning twelve, he disappeared for three days every full moon, but he didn't do anything any other child his age didn't do otherwise. This mix of normalcy and supernatural continued throughout all his life. As a teenager, of course, he had the identity crisis typical of the age, wanting to decide for himself what being a werewolf, Punjabi and Jewish all at once meant to him. This prompted him to become more observant of his mother's Jewish religion, and to teach himself both Hebrew (or rather, build up on what he had learned in Sunday school) and Punjabi, despite the fact that neither of his parents spoke these languages fluently, as he saw these steps as a good stepping stone to get a better feel for himself of what his ethnic and religious ancestry meant to him. If asked nowadays if he found his answer, he says, in all honestly, that he's not sure. He did, however, become fluent in both language through the years. His religious observance waned as he noticed more and more that strict organized religion wasn't really for him, although he never let go of certain aspects of it, like eating kosher. Once high school was over, he went to NYU, coming out with a Masters in Translation at 22... And with only a few days notice, announced to his family that he was moving away. It made perfect sense to him; he was an adult, ready to really start his life. What better time to start his life from scratch? So, he left his family and his pack and set out. Within the year, he found a new town and pack, and made his life there, although he never broke contact with his family and visited as often as he could.
